The Brevard County Chapter of Florida A&M University, National Alumni Association, Inc. is eternally grateful for the $2,500 donation from COMMUNITY EDUCATORS CREDIT UNION.  Chapter President, Dick Blake, accepted the donation on behalf of the Brevard County Chapter on Friday, March 30, 2012.  What a great segway into the organization's recent Annual Scholarship Gala on March 31, 2012!

Scholarship Gala 2012

On March 31, 2010 we hosted yet another one of our successful and well-anticipated Annual Scholarship Galas!  The event nearly reached Standing-Room-Only Status, and several high school students and their parents walked away with gleaming smiles, including: Ana Clara Parra (Palm Bay High School, $1,500); Queriah Simpson (Melbourne High School, $1,200); Vanard Williams (Cocoa High School, $1,000); Gennifer Neely (Rockledge High School, $1,000); Xavier Beckles (Titusville High School, $1,000); Frederick Poitier (Rockledge High School, $800); and Jamilah Link (Palm Bay High School, $800).  Amber Porter, a current FAMU student, was also awarded a scholarship in the amount of $500.
